I didn't drink the first time through - the achievment icon reminded me too much of Blood magic and that sort of freaked me. My husband did and he got some cool warrior abilities. On my second try, I did and got a mana regen (I'm a mage) and another I've never tried yet. I keep thinking it'll upset the other NPC's as it's sort of Blood Magic.
I've always let the mage live, first time I talked him into finding a better way and he ranted and raved. Seconded he did it without shouting.
yeah i wasnt sure if i should have done that or not because of the whole blood magic thing, and then i started wondering if it was going to make me die faster. lol. i doubt that but i thought about it. im a rouge and it made my character faster and able to dodge quicker. I made the mage feel bad. He was like...yes im sorry and hes repenting by figuring out ways to help the wardens. I want to see what other things you can do with the taint.

My husband's Dwarf warrior I recall had this ability to send out a shockwave thing, that would push the enemy back and stun them. What the other was He never said.
i have to agree. i think i got everything that was cool. the kings armor, warden armor and the Jagger(sp) knot(sp) armor. the warden armor is by far the best looking.
